Just bought the App. Really like it!

Got my first HP in 1973, an HP35. Yhe Reverse Polish Notation makes everything SO much easier than direct algebraic entry. It is absolutely gabulous to have this app available.

I’ve been using this app for many years. It is one of my daily go to apps. No exaggeration. I use this every single day. If you’re familiar with the HP-12c, you’ll be completely familiar with this. I’ve never had a problem with it. It just works. A special shout out to the developer. Years ago, they gave the app a new, sleek, flattened look. I wrote to them about the fact that, due to my vision, I couldn’t see the demarcation of the buttons. The developer restored the original look as an option, which you can find under settings. Thank you for maintaining that. Some may be put off by the unfamiliar way of doing a simple calculation using what is called RPN notation. In school we learned PEMDAS-based arithmetic notation to enter numbers for calculations. Try spending a little time learning RPN. It helps get rid of parentheses and you control the order of arithmetic operations. It’s better for any multi-step problem other than adding a simple column of numbers.

Calculator opens at about twice the size of my iPad screen making half the buttons inaccessible. No resize of scroll function available. Worse, no way to get refund! Do not purchase for iPad!

The calculator looks great. You can toggle the sound on and off, however I would really need haptic feedback on the keys to simulate better the experience of the original.

I’d give it 5 if it had a Split View on the iPad. Asked but never got a response.

Great function and fast, works just like my HP 12c

Being a banker and having app-12c calculator and now this app on my phone has being a great help. There’s one thing I wanted to use this App and that’s on my Mac. I would have to buy the App again for Mac. I think that’s not fair.

Having used 3 different HP12C calculators over 40 years in finance they are like my right hand in familiarity. This app is virtually the same in functionality. The only differences are the tactile feel of the keys and being able to use the ever-rugged HP12C case as a light duty hammer.

Accurate, has the 12c look option and it’s a great calculator.

This is horrible. Beware. Trying to insert a decimal is nearly impossible because the period won’t register. Shouldn’t have cheaped out because now I have to buy the HP anyway.

I use it almost everyday to support my activities of an individual investor.

It works fast and stable. Get exact say result as the real calculator. All my classmates use this app. Much better than HP app.

Looks and works just like the real thing! Well worth it

I started using the 12C about 25 years ago. This version is identical to the physical one, or even better. It’s a MUST download for anyone who wants to get percentages quickly, or for those who want to do more advance stuff like annuities, yields, NPVs, etc.

Although I had a bit of trouble with it at the beginning because I’m new with 12C, I’m in love with it. It’s a very powerful calculator that I want you to have. That fact that I can perform on the go it’s really convenient. Happy with my investment (money and time to learn it)

This app functions exactly like the very expensive Hewlit Packard (H P) 12c. Essential for calculating loan installments of all types of financing.

I was ripped off. Wish the App Store would get their act together and Identify those apps that only work on designated devises. I purchased to financial calculators for my Apple 10X and neither works because of the new operatiing system. This app said that it had worked out its bugs in late 2020 so I took a chance and got burned. Furstrated Real Estate Agent. I need something to calculate monthly payments.

This app faithfully emulates all of the HP-12C’s functionality in full-screen portrait and landscape mode. Users are able to toggle between the classic 12C UI and an updated version with improved character display. Links to user guides are also helpfully provided. I previously purchased HP’s version of its legendary calculator but sadly, it’s last update was over 3 years ago and doesn’t support full-screen mode in portrait. Other support is also minimal. This is simply the best HP-12C available and will satisfy all who use it.

Have not yet found a flaw. I prefer the layout of the original 12-C. The functions work well.

Fantastic tool.

I am very disappointed with this calculator. I got the app to help me calculate mortgage payments since I am a Private Mortgage Banker but I keep getting the wrong payments. I follow the same exact steps I with my HP 12c financial calculator but it does not work.

Need to make widget available. Would make a huge difference. Other than that the app is excellent!

I love the 12c. I was a long time user of the 12c, using it to crunch financial stats, bond yields, amortization schedules and the like. Vicinno did a great job putting it into an iOS app. Thank you!

I Purchased the HP 12 C many many many years ago. In fact, it was the first year that it was introduced. It was phenomenal then. and went way beyond anything that you could do with a handheld device at that time. This application has all of the same capabilities as the original 12 C. I use it every day not only for my commercial real estate investments but for every day mathematical and financial needs. It’s easy to use and makes complex financial situations easy to calculate.I don’t know what I would do without it.

I’ve used HP 12C for years. This app turns my iPhone into an HP12C when needed and I can leave my genuine HP12C at home.

I use it more than the original HP calculator even though I have both.

The HP 12 C in a fantastic calculator that I have used for decades. This app duplicates the function and I always have it with me. When at my desk I prefer the calculator. Otherwise I use the app.

I have been using HP calculators since the mid 1980’s in engineering, before TI took over the market. I still have and use my real HP calculators on a daily basis. Vicinno’s HP calculator emulators are very good and convenient on my iPhone, for occasional use. The only gripe I have is the white haze around the characters on the keys is annoying, and makes the characters more difficult to see. Please get rid of the white haze in future updates.

It’s the identical HP 12C, the best financial calculator ever. So glad to have this app

Excellent calculator

Works exactly like the calculator. Except that it is backlit!! Now you can work in dim light, sunlight, or in darkness. For the life of me, I cannot understand why HP does not release a backlit calculator.

I've used an HP12c for a long time ( see title) and this app is identical and much more convenient...since it's on my phone!
